	Masters of Deception: Escher, Dali & the Artists of Optical Illusion. (Book, 320 pages) By Al Seckel Sterling, 2004 Nicely produced coffee table book of art that involves optical illusions. Yes it includes the obvious artists, but it also includes several dozen contemporary artists most of which you have never seen. Includes ambigrams by yours truly, and an introduction by Douglas Hofstadter.	BUY IT from Amazon.com
	Inversions (Book, 128 pages) By Scott Kim Key Curriculum Press, 1996. A collection of original lettering designs. "Inversions" are words written so they can be read both right side up and upside down. For people who enjoy art, Escher, perception, writing or graphic design. Popular with math teachers. 	The Art of Human Interface Design (book) Edited by Brenda Laurel Addison Wesley, 1990 Wide-ranging anthology of articles by many authors, many from Apple Computer. My article, Interdisciplinary Cooperation, is about ways to make collaboration across disciplines work better. The book is a bit dated, but still useful.	BUY IT from Amazon.com

	Quintapaths (Puzzle toy) Kadon Enterprises, 2000 Arrange 20 sticks, each a different arrangement of 5 black and white squares, to form a continuous path within a 10 by 10 square. Includes dozens of different puzzles. Makes strikingly beautiful patterns. Laser-cut acrylic, with raised black squares make for an exquisite tactile experience.
